Who is the Hungry Traveler?
I am a 25-year-old professional who works in higher education and lives outisde Washington, D.C. My job has taken me all over the country, I explore local food in my down time. I have found that you can really learn a lot about a place, its culture and attitude, just by sitting down and having a meal. Truth is, I enjoy a good meal. Over the years I have lived a few different places, spent extended periods of time in others, and visited even more. My goal is to bring you some of the better meals I’ve had while traveling, photos of them, and the new places I add on along the way.
Thanks for the nice press you gave Cleveland and the West Side Market. I live in Cleveland and love it but we get so much grief in the press and have such a rotten reputation that Cleveland suffers from an inferiority complex. So anything that is said about us that is positive is a gift.
Cleveland has really put local foods on the hot list. We have wonderful slow/local food places here so when you come back, email me and I will give you a head’s up. Weezie
